eCommerce Institute Founder - Course Instructor and Digital Marketing SEO and PPC Professional.

If you’re looking for an eCommerce Consultant it’s important to find someone with the right knowledge and experience to help your business. My name is Craig Hood and I have been working in eCommerce since Amazon was only selling books. I learned eCommerce early in my first job with Insight.com in Tempe, AZ. We were one of the first businesses in the computer industry selling online in 1995. I ran the eCommerce outsourcing programs for IBM, HP, Toshiba, Samsung, AST and Insight’s $300M hard drive category.

In 1997 I founded AllegroMedical.com, the first online business selling medical supplies on the web. Allegro Medical grew to an operation of over 100 employees, over $250M in revenue and over 2M customers served. We succeed online by recognizing and understanding the playing field. In order to rank well in the first internet directories, before Google and Search Engines, meant understanding the alpha numeric listing formats of the day. Fast forward to today, and it’s just as important to understand the essentials of Google algorithms and ever changing PPC advertising strategies.

This foundation and continued work with Google SEO, has give us tremendous experience and insight. After founding the eCommerce Institute in 2011 we have made our eCommerce services available to businesses throughout the US. If you are a business with a budget of at least $995/month and looking for eCommerce Consulting services, the eCommerce Institute can help!

How Much Does an eCommerce Consultant Cost?

The cost of an ecommerce consultant varies depending on a variety of factors such as their experience level, expertise, location, and the scope of the project. A consultant may charge by the hour, day, week or project, and rates may range from a few hundred to several thousand dollars. Some consultants may also require additional expenses such as travel costs, software or tools purchases, and other related expenses.
